Canadian Tire Kanata is hiring Garden Centre Associates for the spring/summer season. If you enjoy plants, gardening, and helping customers while being active and on your feet, this is the role for you.
Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service in the Garden Centre
Assist customers with plant care, product selection, and gardening solutions
Load heavy items such as soil, mulch, and bagged products into customer vehicles
Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise efficiently
Water and care for plants, ensuring all live goods are healthy and sale-ready
Follow store safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Genuine interest in plants, gardening, or outdoor living
Experience in retail, customer service, or horticulture is an asset
Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy products (up to 50 lbs or more)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends)
Team player with good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Learn from a supportive and experienced team
